Bomb Table
We LOVE projects like this, even more so when they come with a brilliant story. This pub was bombed during World War 2, thankfully the closest bomb didn't go off and the pub survived. When the bomb disposal team after the war attended and deactivated the bomb they visited the pub after for a beer and offered the bomb to the landlord. The bomb ended up in the cellar until this day. The pub had a very extensive makeover due to recent fire damage and the new Landlords contacted us to see if there was anything cool we could do with the bomb to keep some history. We designed a frame which we lasercut from blackened steel and created a very cool table with reclaimed wood for the tabletop that has received some amazing feedback from the pubs’ regulars and tourists alike!
